Typical dessert for breakfast Salento

Pasticciotto is a typical dessert of area of Salento in Puglia, consisting of pastry filled with custard and baked in the oven.
The birth of pasticciotto back at least at the beginning of the eighteenth century.
It's typical habit of Salento consume this sweet freshly baked and still warm during the early hours of the day for breakfast.
"The pasticciotto Obama" is the variant of cocoa pasticciotto traditional Lecce, created by Angelo Bisconti from Campi Salentino.
The "pasticciotto Obama", then, had arrived in New York and had been successful on the boards of the major events of the Big Apple.
