As it has done in recent years, therefore, once again the non-profit organization, non-governmental pinned gallons chest of Castro, Melendugno Otranto and Salve (strictly in alphabetical order, as are all the same), obviously with all resorts and marinas located in the region which, in turn, often maintaining their own distinct identity (when they are not the actual towing of a place), val here worth mentioning.

And so, with Castro it is La Source and Zinzulusa; for the case of Melendugno (town which lies in the hinterland) the credit goes to Bear Tower, Sant'Andrea, San Foca, Torre Specchia and Roca; Otranto with the flag waving on Alimini Bay, Bay of the Turks, Stephen, Castellan Porto Craulo, Madonna Alto Mare and Porto Badisco; with Hi there are Pescoluse and Torre Pali-Old Place.

The Apulia region, in the ranking of the Fee, ranks fifth in Italy, this year also with eleven locations, with the entry of Castellaneta representing the province of Taranto Ginosa. There are also Margherita di Savoia (Bat), Polignano a Mare and Monopoli (Bari), Fasano and Ostuni (Brindisi). For the province of Lecce, the satisfaction of staying in the top of the region, serving as a motive.

The ceremony has unfolded this morning in the Sala Tirreno Region of Lazio in Rome and among the first ever to comment on the recognition there was the mayor of Otranto, Luciano Charybdis. "The Blue Flag certifies the good work done in the policies put in place by the municipality, but also the best practices carried out by the various private operators as part of their tourism and trade," he said, thus making about all City Martyrs for this confirmation.

"And 'no doubt that much it remains to be done but it is undeniable the growth recorded by our city over the years as regards the protection and enhancement of the resource environment. Our sea, among the most amati- added -, which attracts many tourists seem to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, the special natural sites and the rich historical archiettonico ".

Castro

www.salentoviaggi.it

The beautiful Castro overlooking the Adriatic Sea and looks eastward.
the town divided into two distinct parts: one is Castro Marina, where there is also the port near which you can see archaeological ruins which act as shops for the fishermen; other Castro Superiore, a village of ancient origin in a panoramic sea along a vast hilly area. It is said that to create the town were even Cretans, only to be called Castrum Minervae by the Romans, becoming an important center during the Middle Ages enough to be a bishopric from 1179 to 1537, in spite of the current small size. The sixteenth-century fortifications are still visible.
