Again the Salento drops his poker clean sea. The Apulia region, in the ranking of the Fee, ranks fifth in Italy, this year also with eleven locations, with the entry of Castellaneta representing the province of Taranto Ginosa. There are also Margherita di Savoia (Bat), Polignano a Mare and Monopoli (Bari), Fasano and Ostuni (Brindisi). For the province of Lecce, the satisfaction of staying in the top of the region, serving as a motive.
The ceremony has unfolded this morning in the Sala Tirreno Region of Lazio in Rome and among the first ever to comment on the recognition there was the mayor of Otranto, Luciano Charybdis. "The Blue Flag certifies the good work done in the policies put in place by the municipality, but also the best practices carried out by the various private operators as part of their tourism and trade," he said, thus making about all City Martyrs for this confirmation.
"And 'no doubt that much it remains to be done but it is undeniable the growth recorded by our city over the years as regards the protection and enhancement of the resource environment. Our sea, among the most amati- added -, which attracts many tourists seem to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, the special natural sites and the rich historical archiettonico ".
Cariddi also stressed their commitment to the construction and commissioning dlela underwater pipeline for disposal of treated water from the treatment plant the city, but also the collecting of sewage settlement in Specchiulla, the expansion of areas urban destined to pedestrian areas and the creation of several parks.
